2024 EDGE Daniel Anderson commits to North Carolina
Germantown (Tenn.) EDGE Daniel Anderson announced his commitment to North Carolina on Thursday. He chose the Tar Heels over Coastal Carolina, Indiana and UNLV among others.
Anderson is not ranked in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking or the 2024 On300. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs 245 pounds.
“I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity!” Anderson wrote on Twitter. “I want to thank my parents and friends for pushing me. I want to thank Coach Gene for all he’s done. I want to say thank you to coach (Mack) Brown and coach (Gene) Chizik for reaching out. Thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me. Thank you to everyone! It took a village to get me this far and it will take that same support cast to push me to success on the next level. With that being said, I’m excited to say I’m a future TAR HEEL!!!!!!”
Anderson is now the sixth member of North Carolina’s 2024 recruiting class. The others are Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star running back Davion Gause, Ball Ground (Ga.) Creekview three-star offensive tackle Andrew Rosinski, Arden (N.C.) Christ School three-star athlete Khalil Conley, Eatonton (Ga.) Gatewood School three-star linebacker Evan Bennett and Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth three-star interior offensive lineman Desmond Jackson.
Anderson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
